Full Stack Java / UI Software Engineer - Treasury Services at JP Morgan Chase (Jersey City, NJ)

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Youll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. Youll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of whats being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, youll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

JPMorgan ACCESS is a mission critical, large scale, web & mobile based, cash management application directly tied to the strategic growth of Treasury Services. ACCESS is one of the largest Technical projects within JPMorgan; leveraging a host of new technologies, offering developers the opportunity to expand and apply their technical capabilities.

The Treasury Services team is seeking a Full Stack Java / UI Software Engineer. This individual will work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions to provide a solid experience for our users.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Extensive, hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries such as Dojo, Ember JS, Angular JS, D3 JS or equivalent
• 
  
• Sound understanding of JavaScript programming language, its quirks, browser agnostic coding, blazing fast performance, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3 and JS code
• 
  
• Hands on experience with AJAX and JSON / JSONP
• 
  
• Core Java, Spring, JEE skills including REST, Web Services
• 
  
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL
• 
  
• Knowledge of Oracle Streams / GoldenGate and/or IBM CDC technology
• 
  
• Ability and availability to support production issues
• 
  
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• 
   
  
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• 
  
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• 
  
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• 
  
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• 
  
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science degree is preferable)
