We’re growing and looking for a smart, funny, humble, passionate and detailed-oriented DevOps engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer primary responsibility is utilizing the latest technologies to bring our automation to a new level. “Infrastructure as code” is our motto. Oh, and the world should be source controlled. This position reports to our DevOps Manager.

Responsibilities
- Contribute beautiful code (and tests) that make our software products and system infrastructure better and more scalable.
- Build tools, measure their efficacy, learn from the experience and repeat.
- Hold yourself, and the team, to the highest standards of information and data security.
- Grow the “DevOps” culture blending code with system administration.
- Drive change with humility, respect and trust.
- Research new and emerging technologies and discover ways to implement them into the onPeak infrastructure.
- Automate alarm/alert creation and distribution.
- Create, support and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Evangelize the best practices of DevOps. Write documentation, templates, and automation tooling.
Qualifications
- 2 years of hands on experience in some combination of engineering/building systems/test automation.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Packer, or something similar.
- Comfort in setting up continuous integration or continuous delivery systems.
- Experience and comfort writing code in a least one object oriented modern language.
- Profound general knowledge of running internet webservers (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, Debian based Linux, security, hardening, encryption standards)
- Hands-on experience with server-side development and deployment (Python, Apache/Nginx, Node, Tomcat, SQL, Jenkins)
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS.
- An interest in automating yourself out of a job.
- Experience coding in Python or Node.
- An interest in working in a rapidly-growing environment and helping us create a strong DevOps culture.
- Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience building, administering and/or maintaining a data warehouse.
