As an Infrastructure Engineer working in Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), you will be developing the next generation solution that changes how GTI delivers its infrastructure services to our customers. You will have the opportunity to work on specific project critical to the department's needs with opportunities to work on different projects as our fast paced business evolves. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new problems across the full-stack.

We're looking for engineers with a broad set of technical skills and who will bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, UI design.   • Systems, Network and Storage Engineering Background


  • Knowledge of agile principals and CI/CD pipelines


Responsibilities:


  • SME and point of escalation


  • Provides technical leadership in a team


  • Defines roadmaps


  • May include direct accountability for people management and financial budgeting


  • Manage your individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise


  • Focus on ensuring end to end delivery of a feature, and management of execution across the entire compute stack
Minimal Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
Extensive hands-on experience as a senior virtualization engineer (spanning OS, virtualization. automation, storage, networking and compute)
In depth experience with VMware vSphere 5.x & 6.x
Proven experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, vRO)
Strong hands on experience with architecture, design, installation and configuration of IT infrastructure components in large and complex environments.
Experience with designing, writing, modifying and debugging complex scripts and/or workflows to automate routine product management admin
Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are resilient, repeatable and scalable
Experience with vendor provided APIs
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task appropriately prioritizing deliverables against timeframe
Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
The ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize one's own work
Strong understanding of the operational impact of design choices
Ability to provide strong technical and developmental guidance
