PRODUCT TEAM
You'll work on the Product Team bringing new features and capabilities to Immuta's product. This team is a highly skilled group of full stack engineers and designers that works with a variety of languages and technologies to build a reliable scalable application suite capable of integrating and virtualizing data across storage technologies and delivering data to users in a policy-compliant and auditable manner.
YOUR ROLE
Our user experience (UX) team is a critical driving force as the primary catalyst of our interface driven development process. We are looking for an user experience engineer who is smart, curious and has a passion for solving complex engineering concepts; and delivering innovative solutions that simplifies the user experience. You will collaborate with a talented team of product engineers in an agile environment, to design, test and implement new features and products.
As a user experience engineer, you will be involved from start to finish in the design process including the creation of wireframes to mockups and implementation of front-end markup, delivering solutions that adds value to both our products and users.
We're looking for UX Engineers who...
* illustrate and defend your design process and how you arrived at your design choices, not stopping at the first idea, but exploring various avenues while working with cross-functional teams, maintaining a user-centric approach.
* are able to plan accordingly while working on multiple tasks, turning static wireframes into high-fidelity mockups.
* are proficient in HTML, CSS, JS and front-end frameworks and platforms, working closely with product engineers, delivering clean markup.
* understand a design system and are able to determine when to follow the established patterns, but also when it’s appropriate to work outside of those boundaries.
* are able to balance the need for consistency, flexibility and scale.
* enjoy brainstorming epics and thinking about parts of the feature that may affect the rest of the product.
* remain focused, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
* have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (graphic design, visual communication, UX and UI design and etc) or has more than 6 years experience in UX and UI design.
WE VALUE
* at least 3 years of experience working in an agile environment, designing responsive web apps and design systems for a product.
* experience working with front-end frameworks and platforms, such as Bootstrap and Angular.js.
* pride in staying up to date on the latest design trends and technologies.
* have a working understanding and experience with HTML5 and SASS.
