Senior Software Engineer at Experian Limited (Austin, TX)

Experian is looking for a talented senior software engineer to help build our next cutting-edge identity protection product features which will help consumers and businesses guard against ID theft. The ideal candidate should be well rounded, self-motivated, experienced with multiple technologies and frameworks, and enjoy fast paced development cycles.

 

The role will collaborate with staff in Boston, Austin, El Cajon and Costa Mesa and across Experian divisions.  Some remote work is possible but we are looking for someone willing to work in our large Austin, TX office or HQ in Costa Mesa, CA the majority of the time. We also have satellite offices in El Cajon, CA and Boston Metro that are an option. 

Responsibilities

? Software design, test-driven development, maintenance, and support. 

? Collaborate with Business, Software Engineers, and QA teams as needed to deliver superior functionality

? Integrate and Maintain RESTful web services including popular social networks 

? Participate in the full SDLC using Agile including scrum meetings, iterative development, task estimates and design sessions.

? Participate in On Call Rotation one week a month and as needed to handle technical issues escalated from first level technical support
