TIX is a ticketing Aggregator that instantly allows you to identify the best prices to concerts, theatre and sports events across Australia.
A critical role in the business, this full stack developer role is responsible for developing high quality solutions across all of TIX’s products. Working alongside the CTO, in a start-up 'ish' environment (think fast paced, constantly changing, making it up as we go) This is not a corporate setting and would best suit someone with experience, desire and comfort working in this type of business.

TIX is seeking a full stack PHP developer to help grow our existing team of developers.
You will be required to develop solutions all the way from the front end right through to the backend powering all of our websites.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Building out our backend, websites and mobile app
- Scoping new features for the platform with the Product and UX teams
- Contributing to the development roadmap
- Managing multiple projects across the business simultaneously
Essential skills & abilities:
- Minimum of 3-5 years software development experience
- Experience working with Symfony 2 PHP framework
- Solid understanding of MVC frameworks and patterns.
- Solid understanding of OO programming techniques
- Solid understanding of RDBMS, in particular, MySQL
- Solid understanding of security, web standards and architecture
- Experiencing working with Git based workflow
- Experience working with and building JSON APIs
- Experience with modern frontend technologies. ie ReactJS
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and can explain complex concepts to non technical staff
- Ability to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of a solution which are built for scale
Desired skills & abilities:
- Experience building cloud based applications
- Experience with building mobile applications
- Experience with React Native
- Experience developing for Linux server
