Do you think this could be you? To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a UX-/UI Product Designer (m/f). In this position you will be responsible for taking our product concept and design to the next level and making it a silky smooth experience for every customer. You will work together with product managers, developers and our external design agency and leverage your skills for best functional but beautiful customer experience along with your structured work and your passion for new ideas.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Designing highly functional but beautiful user interfaces for apps and browsers for all Westwing Products
- Create customer journeys, flowcharts, wireframes, mockups and prototypes for all platforms and screen sizes, with clear focus on mobile first
- Projects lead in the sense of an excellent user experience
- Accompany the development and design process (research, strategy, concept, information architecture, design, prototyping, testing & implementation)
- Work data-driven, continuously trying to optimize the user experience through smart design solutions
- Push creativity and challenge established thinking, always respecting other views and encouraging constructive feedback
- Work closely with our product and development teams, supporting them and reviewing the implemented designs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to constantly improve the shopping experience in our online shops
- Work closely together with our external design agency
- Initiate constantly new UX & UI projects and ideas driven by market research about latest UX and UI
You come with:
- Studies of Graphic / Visual Design or something equivalent
- A minimum work experience of 3 years in UX/UI product design in eCommerce and you have a portfolio to prove it
- Passion about great user experience, especially on mobile first
- A clear vision on clean design and have a strong sense for layout and typography
- Knowledge about platform paradigms (Desktop, iOS, Android) and interaction design
- Proficiency with the main digital design tools (Sketch, InVision, Principle...)
- Experience with wire framing and prototyping (e.g. pen and paper, Invision)
- Reliability and ability to work as a part of an international team
- Fluency in English; international work experience and additional languages are a plus
- As a plus you bring in a good understanding of HTML and CSS
