Software Engineer for web application frontend UI and UX at Pixida GmbH (München, Deutschland)

As a software engineer for web application frontend UI and UX, you are responsible for the design of user interfaces and user interactions for both our own software applications and our customers software solutions. You advise our customers in the development, integration and analysis of solutions and you create concepts for further development of existing systems.


You pay attention to the clean code principles and the use of unit tests and integration tests throughout the development process.

Our requirements:


We are looking for employees that bring experience and very good knowledge about user interface design and user interaction design of web applications. You value the small and large details of UI and UX design that improve or enable a well-rounded user experience. You also have experience in presenting complex information to the user and how the interface can assist the user in understanding and working with them.


You have experience in one or more of the following areas in a professional environment or in a considerable private project:



  • User Interface Libraries (e.g. React, Angular, …)

  • Frontend Frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Vega Visualization, Vis.js, …)

  • Web Technologies and Design (e.g. HTML, CSS, Less, Sass, …)

  • Graphic Design (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, …)


Having experience in any of the following areas is a bonus:



  • DevOps in the Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, …)

  • Frontend Unit and Integration Testing and best practices (with e.g. Mocha, Junit, Selenium, …)


Additionally, you have already gained experience as a developer in agile software projects and have implemented continuous integration in your projects successfully.


You like collaboration in close teams and you are open-minded and open to change.
