SysAdmin / DevOps at QWIC (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

QWIC is growing and our IT-team too. Can you manage the IT (cloud) environment of QWIC and make sure everything runs smooth? As a SysAdmin / DevOps Engineer, you’ll be providing continuous innovation and improvement, while understanding the implications of software & (cloud) infrastructure and implementation choices on usability, performance and maintainability.

We are looking for a SysAdmin / DevOps Engineer for our growing IT-team to improve workflow and automate development processes; automate deployment to multiple clouds; to grow and improve our infrastructure; and troubleshoot issues in our development, test, and production environments.

Who are you?

You have an growth mindset and have experience in DevOps / SysAdmin work. You have the ability to make a planning and set priorities. 

Because of the fast growth of QWIC it's important you can structure your own work and set your priorities in a good way. We know a free way of working together and there's a lot possible when you take initiative. You are result oriented and solution minded. You have excellent communication skills and able to work with different departments.

Furthermore:

• 
  
• You have a Master’s degree in computer science
• 
  
• Expertise with Linux / Unix systems;
• 
  
• Expertise with Windows Server systems;
• 
  
• Experience with any of configuration management tools (such as Maven, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt);
• 
  
• Experience with any of continuous integration server (such as Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD);
• 
  
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, experience with Azure, or GCE;
• 
  
• Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, Cactai, Graphite, Log Stash, Nagios, Ganglia etc.);
•
