Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests, and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in the delivery of enterprise mobile applications utilized by our workforce including individual software development execution as well as leading other team members with their efforts; design technology solutions in support of overall enterprise mobile business strategies and administer resources and projects in support of their realization, lead engineering teams throughout various stages of software projects while ensuring technology standards and sustainability are maintained; architect new mobile solutions for our workforce including developing proofs of concept and innovative approaches to meet changing business needs, assess resource requirements, develop project plans, maintain and ensure the proper execution of project deliverables and production implementations, administer production support items in order to ensure business continuity, and communicate project statuses to management. Design, configure, test, and support mobile applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Swift/Objective-C to perform mobile development; assist in the deployment of software releases; research, write, and edit technical documentation and requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; partner with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; ensure team delivers software on time, to specification, and within budget; and mentor, train, and provide guidance to junior-level software engineers. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Mobility Community and mentor other teams on best practices and industry standards/trends

Job Specification:

-Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

-Minimum 7 years of overall software development experience with a minimum of four(4) years of experience in developing mobile applications for iOS.

-3 Years' experience with hybrid mobile application development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Cordova.

-Minimum 3 years' experience working within an Agile development framework. Experience using Rally or other Agile Management tools a significant plus.

-2 Years' experience of native iOS app development with Swift/Objective-C

-Demonstrated experience leading development efforts, delegating work, and guiding the work of other team members

-Demonstrated aptitude of mobile app design & Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

-Demonstrated experience with debugging and performance profiling tools for mobile apps.

-Hands on experience with a version control system like Git.

-Demonstrated experience with various API protocols, REST, SOAP, O-data

-Well versed with modern authentication protocols such as OAuth and Open ID Connect

-Good understanding of mobile app deployment process and platforms like TestFlight, Hockey etc.

-Experience with other web-based mobile development technologies and responsive design techniques a significant plus

-Experience designing applications with Accessibility Standards WCAG 2.0/508 Compliance a plus

-Experience developing for Android a plus
