- Assist in development of data pipelines using a combination of Java, Kafka, Aurora and other technologies
- Assist in the design of scalable and highly available data pipelines
- Promote and protect our high-performance culture
- Drive continuous improvement to our software development process, products, and code
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Proven experience with Java 8 or higher
- Experience developing microservices, devops, test automation and CI/CD
- Experience with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL / Aurora with PostgreSQL compatibility
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- B.S or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with or building distributed systems is a plus
- Experience with Kafka is a plus
- Experience with Groovy or Kotlin is a plus
- Experience with Atlassian products
