Responsibilities
- Interact with product managers and other stake holders to quickly develop high level product sketches and wireframes
- Apply lean methodologies to help product management and agile teams “fail fast”
- Digest, translate, and refine UX based on usability testing and customer feedback
- Create amazing low and high fidelity designs
- Work with developers to implement designs
- Iteratively improve the design and information architecture of interactive products
- Participate in user research and customer visits to produce user scenarios, personas, and information architecture
- Research the latest technologies and push the boundaries of what's creatively possible
- Continue to develop skills as a member of a strong product team
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Design, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent degree preferred
- 3-5 years desired of experience in interaction design preferred
- Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch and Invision
- Experience working with user researchers and product managers
- Experience working in a usability testing lab
- Understanding of user interface design principles for creating intuitive and engaging experience
- Understanding of user-centered design, usability, and design principles
- Experience in HTML a plus
- Information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, and user research
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication
- Understanding of common software development practices
