Our team is looking for a Senior-level software engineer who has displayed engineering capabilities at a complex and in-depth technical level with an emphasis in Javascript, and who may lead software engineers in the development of applications or systems. Demonstrates the ability to design, execute and work on a complex application or system. Trusted by the company to interact with clients and other entities in the performance of engineering duties under the supervision of higher level engineers. Leads the day to day guidance of other software engineers. Assists other engineers on the architecture of an application and system.
Responsibilities:
- Implement complex large scale features of an application or system.
- Lead Agile planning and estimating.
- Delegate tasks/stories to multiple team members.
- Lead other software engineers.
- Collaborate with other engineers to determine the architecture of an application or system.
- May lead team members implementation of applications or systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in more than one object oriented programming language.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new development environments, application platforms and architectures.
- Ability to work independently and lead other software engineers.
- Proficiency in Javascript.
- Experience deploying software in a production environment.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc).
Desired Experience:
- Experience leading a team of software engineers and interacting with other non-engineering departments.
- A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience required.
