The mission of Product Offerings & Growth is to deliver technology that powers the growth of our core businesses, by providing the right products to the right people at the right price at the right time. It includes how we create product offerings out of SKUs, sellable inventory, and membership rules, at a dynamically optimized price. Product Offerings & Growth covers the the entire journey of a member, from their first interaction with our website or a salesperson, all the way through providing the right account visibility and flexibility so they stay a member for life and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be working on different products handling our membership experience. WeWork’s dedication to connecting our spaces to technology means that you’ll be developing new applications meant to support how our members grow with us. Our team is at the heart of WeWork applications as we are responsible for core microservices, like the membership subscription.
You will be responsible for designing, coding and testing highly available distributed systems and microservices, in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in full stack Software Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge with Ruby, Python or Java
- Comfortable working with frameworks such as React.js or Angular
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and coach more junior employees
- Ability to cross collaborate with additional software engineering teams as this person will be supporting an application that multiple software engineering teams at WeWork access
