Job description
As Software Engineers, we are part of the Market Insights division and focus on maintaining and developing scalable and re-usable software components and solutions at enterprise scale.
Our master data solutions are determined to be effective, highly efficient, highly available, reliable, scalable, maintainable and work-flow system supported. Hence, you will play in the premier league of software engineering accompanied by a full-stack scrum team in an agile environment.
In that position, you'll be looked after by Norman, who is a passionate techie with engineering background and a good track record in running agile teams.
However, Norman loves Ice cream. His favorite is Vanilla combined with Strawberry and Chocolate. A classic. What´s yours? Pretty sure, Norman will invite you on a proper sundaes when you´re on board.
Your specific tasks will include:
- Enjoy designing and implementing backend and web applications like workflow management or highly dynamic coding interfaces for our clients in close cooperation with our frontend specialists
- Enjoy developing applications with the optimum in usability on state of the art web technologies
- Maintain our existing applications in the area Master Data Management
- Analyze and eliminate performance bottlenecks in our applications
- Create and execute unit and component test based on standardized frameworks
- Integrate your solutions in out continuous delivery process
- Work closely together with our team in Bulgaria
- Analyze and resolve system issues (3rd level support)
- Take care of software quality and standards in software engineering
- Plan and conduct technology selection and proof of concepts
We look for a profile with complementary skills, such as:
- Diploma in Computer-Science or comparable working experience
- 4+ years relevant job experience in software development
- Advanced skills in C# and ASP.NET
- Advanced skills in with one or more JavaScript SPA framework(s)
- Working knowledge with source control systems like TFS and/or Git
- Working knowledge with ORACLE PL-SQL
- Working knowledge in object oriented modelling and design
- Experience in Rabbit MQ, RESTful API, ElasticSearch
- Used to work in agile Scrum teams, ideally experienced with SAFe
