Tokyo’s multitude of restaurants offer every style of international cuisine, from tiny ramen shop to Michelin starred restaurants, while international grocery stores offer a taste of home. The city is clean and modern and the Japanese polite, friendly and helpful.  Public transit around the city and country is extensive, with Shinkansen (bullet trains) able to speed you to Japan’s every corner.

Our offices are conveniently located near major stations (Ebisu, Meguro and Roppongi) on major train routes, most notably the Yamanote line.  We conduct business in English and apply the same management practices globally. At the same time our Tokyo offices are a paragon of multiculturalism, with over 35 nationalities represented, and is an expression of the value Indeed places on diversity in multiple dimensions.  We have meals catered daily, gaming rooms with billiards, ping pong, video consoles and more, and even a climbing wall in our Ebisu office. A large variety of free snacks and beverages are supplied, there a weekly happy hours and many other social events throughout each month.

For candidates with substantial open source projects or contributions, personal side projects, Stack Overflow contributions or engineering blogs we can evaluate your portfolio and fast track you past the usual screening process.  We are especially interested in engineers with a track record of helping others, of providing technical mentoring and guidance, and helping to grow your fellow engineers.
