We are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamic CRM Product Owner to join our team in Surrey, BC. The role of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Product Owner will be to help enhance current functionality and help plan and develop new functionality. GroupHEALTH had been utilizing the CRM platform since version 4.0 and are currently running version 2016 with plans to move the Microsoft hosted services.


Microsoft CRM is used throughout the Organization from Sales, renewals, customer service, NPS Surveys and marketing. We have also integrated CRM with our custom applications and are continuing to expand its use across the organization. We want to enhance the platform to work with upcoming business process improvements and connecting with a new Unified Communications project in the fall.



The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Product Owner will work with the current CRM Administrator to help analyse, plan and develop solution to utilize CRM in all departments across the family of companies at GroupHEALTH Benefit Solutions.




Outcomes
Within the first 30 days 

  • Introduction to IT Team and department leaders across the organization 

  • Get to know the Development team and other technologies used at GroupHEALTH  

  • Review the current development technologies and processes (SDLC)

  • Introduction to the IT Governance process

  • Review the current CRM system and its specific development process

  • Review and learn basics of the CRM System Architecture and its connection to other systems

  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) introduction – 1 module 



Within the first 6 months 

  • Support IT Governance and the projects from it

  • Continue to review System Architecture 

  • Oversee development tasks required to support the IT roadmap for CRM

  • Work with the Project Management Team to plan Enhancements and Strategic projects.

  • Review the CRM development processes and assess that best practices are used and make improvements as needed 

  • Review current CRM processes across the business and recommend improvements. How can we improve our use of CRM and processes around it.

  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) introduction – 1 module 



Within the first 12 months 

  • Determine the road map for security and upgrades for CRM and plan release dates.

  • Work with the Infrastructure team to plan migration of CRM to the Cloud.

  • Work with the Sr Director on projects for upcoming year

  • Work with the Sr Director on resource planning for the upcoming year

  • Continue to learn and take courses to grow and advance with GroupHEALTH

  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) introduction – 2 modules 



In addition to joining a team that is focused on delivering the “WOW!” factor daily (while enjoying weekly yoga stretches, fresh fruit & vegetables, and lots of cake!), your Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Overall coordination of the CRM development environment and processes.

  • Maintain and Manage Help Desk tickets for CRM and any integrations to other systems. 

  • Managing and planning projects with the help from Project Management Team and Sr. Director of IT.

  • Occasional evening and weekend work will be required when necessary

  • Plan and support software upgrades as needed by the multiple systems that the development team supports.

  • Providing telephone/technical support to administration, programming, infrastructure 

  • Preventive maintenance; Investigation of running systems to ensure efficiency and discovery of any issues that might be occurring but has not created errors message

  • Work with the Business leaders to help shape the direction of CRM growth and usage across the Organization



Education and Experience



  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM administration.

  • Microsoft certification or demonstrated direct experience

  • Development experience in Microsoft CRM workflow design

  • Microsoft server technologies experience an asset

  • Experience with integration of multiple systems with new and old technology a plus

  • Project management and or Business analyst experience a plus

  • Contact Center and associated technologies and work flow experience a plus

  • Agile and Scrum experience preferred
