SingularDTV GmbH is a blockchain entertainment studio laying the foundation for a decentralized, permission-less entertainment industry by building the future of rights management, project funding, and peer-to-peer distribution.
As our media-related cloud computing and storage expert, you will work with our platform vendor(s) (Ooyala, Telestream, AWS, etc.) to establish and test all our automated workflows, set-up exception handling processes and integrate with 3rd party vendors via the platforms and 3rd party API’s.
The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud computing, has experience working with the big platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) but is not afraid to dig in and work with newer, less established companies to create the cloud computing environment we envision at SingularDTV.
Responsibilities:
- Program automated workflows in cloud content management platform (Ooyala, Kaltura, etc.):
- Ingest (specification check, storage, proxy creation, etc.)
- Transcode (delivery formats, proxies for dubbing, subtitling and QC, etc.)
- Delivery (Aspera, Signiant, etc.)
- Notifications (email, instant messaging, etc.)
- Exception handling
- Content Management (delete, update, archive, etc.)
- External vendors asset receipt and delivery
- Implement workflows for maximum automation and efficiency, eliminating human touches wherever possible
- Rigorously test all workflows
- Implement notification and monitoring processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, statistics or related field
- 5+ years’ experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Workflow design/implementation, API integration, and Scripting languages: Python, JSON, Rails, CSS, etc.
- Solid understanding of exception handling (notifications, emails, etc.)
- Familiarity with production and distribution processes and technologies
- Experience with digital asset management technology and digital workflows
- Experience working with information technology systems, specifically databases and web-based applications, project management, system design, development and deployment
Ideal Candidate Might Also Have:
- AWS certification highly desired
- Knowledge of blockchain technology
