The incumbent is responsible for the technology platform deployment/provisioning process design and continual improvement, including but not limited to automation of software releases, build, configure, deploy and operationalization.
Require working knowledge of rapid provisioning of software environments, full & incremental deployment, and respective scalability parameters,
Responsibilities include Tomcat tuning, server and database connectivity parameters validations, full-stack operational support for internet facing platform front-end to backend and integration with relevant platforms internal and external to Bank.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing, deploying and maintaining large scale applications with complex integration, have cloud-based deployment experience.
At least 1-2 years of this experience needs to be in fully automating the deployment process and working with continual deployment tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
The role requires hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous improvement for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Solid understanding of Agile methodology backed by hands on experience, development techniques and best practices for an enterprise framework.
The individual must thrive on fast paced, challenging environment with short learning curves. Must be proactive and dynamic, and demonstrate initiative and eagerness to succeed.
He/She must be able to interact with various people like Business Users, Testers, Network team, and Production Support Team.
It is essential that the incumbent to be proactive, eager to learn, and to have a 'Can Do' attitude.
