Business Process Analyst/Systems Developer (F/T), CFRE43060OCT at College of Dupage (Glen Ellyn, IL)

Develops new or modifies existing business solutions. Performs system/process analysis, troubleshooting, programming, testing, creates project plans and makes recommendations. Acts as a system administrator for enterprise level applications. Completes system maintenance tasks and performs upgrades. Provides technical support and training to end users at expert level.




  • Serves as a system administrator for document imaging system and develops new applications within the system. Develops electronic forms and associated workflows.



  • Performs business process analysis as assigned. Consults with end users to determine feasibility of new systems and to gather detailed requirements.



  • Designs and develops application programs from analysis to implementation.



  • Develops and maintains procedures and end user documentation for newly implemented systems.



  • Provides direction, coordination, and expert advice to Information Technology staff in the resolution of technical issues.



  • Recognizes and identifies areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and makes recommendations in those areas.



  • Works independently to solve end user problems in the areas of communications, microcomputers, local area networks, document imaging system, and other systems supported by the position.



  • Develops programs in scripting languages and maintains job scheduling system.



  • Provides expert level technical support for and serves as a system administrator for enterprise-wide desktop software management solution.



  • Participates in professional activities and keeps up to date with regard to developments in office and classroom technology. Participates on College-wide committees as appropriate.



  • Is on call to assist in providing system support on a 24-hour basis.



  • Performs other duties as assigned.




REQUIRED


EXPERIENCE:


Four years' experience providing support in a personal computing end user environment. Expert Knowledge of local area networks, hardware, software, and Windows networking administration tools. Experience administering enterprise level applications and windows networks. Or equivalent combination of experience of education and experience.


EDUCATION:


BS or BA degree


PREFERRED


EXPERIENCE:


Four years' experience in providing support in a personal computing end user environment. Two or more years' experience with Microsoft System Center, Perceptive Content/ImageNow, Windows Server, Apache Tomcat, HTML/5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, PowerShell. Electronic forms and workflow experience.


EDUCATION:


BS or BA degree in Computer Information Systems or other related field.



Pleasant office environment. Varied working hours at odd times. Must be able to use telephone and a microcomputer.


This position requires a background check and drug screen.
