Who you are
We are seeking an individual with a strong engineering background to help support a suite of services, tools and frameworks, including our security and authentication platforms and API management solutions, as well as helping to build new capabilities for our clients. You should have a solid understanding of building reliable, resilient, high-performance applications. You’re forward-thinking, eager to learn and have a passion to explore and experiment with the latest technologies.
What you'll do at Markit Digital
- Contribute to a cross-functional team building new capabilities for some of the biggest names in the financial industry
- Monitor and support critical production services, while looking to continuously improve performance, resilience and transparency
- Use your expertise to setup secure web and API integrations for external clients
- Act as point of contact for the team on a rotating basis

- Leverage your 8+ years of industry experience to provide your team with feedback and expertise, balancing a variety of roles including that of developer, architect, and technical writer
- Satisfy your natural craving for problem solving by building and designing complex applications

- You will help balance project timelines and team commitments in an exciting, fast-paced environment
Required skills:
- Advanced experience developing applications with
- C#, ASP.NET, MVC
- Javascript, Node.js, npm
- Git or similar source control systems
- Windows and Linux
- Familiarity with one or more of the following security protocols
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
- OAuth 2.0
- JWT
