Robotics Software Engineer
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or applicable engineering discipline (or equivalent relevant work experience)
 - 3+ years of experience in writing robust, well tested, production-quality code in C++ and/or C
 - Practical experience with iterative development, software version control systems and testing
 - Strong software design skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design
 - Proven track record working on all stages of the software development life cycle
 - Fluent with a Linux development environment, Ubuntu preferred
 - Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly
 - Experience with Robotics programming environments and systems
 
Nice to Haves:
- 3+ years of practical experience in writing robust, production-quality code in Python
 - Experience developing, troubleshooting, and/or tuning hardware systems including:
- Lidars
 - Standard or Depth Cameras
 - Light systems
 - Imus, encoders or other odometry methods
 - Wi-Fi
 
 - Experience designing/developing one or more of the following software systems/algorithms:
- Mapping, Localization, and/or SLAM
 - Robot perception, Sensor calibration and/or fusion
 - Motion planning, Controls Algorithms and/or Autonomous navigation
 - Production level configuration, log and system management
 - Remote monitoring and control
 - Performance verification and monitoring
 - Test automation of combined software and hardware components
 - Robot perception, Sensor calibration and/or fusion
