Your tasks

Several million customers use our brands GMX, WEB.DE, 1&1 and mail.com and generate billions of requests. Our systems are the most frequented in Germany. For an exciting new project regarding account abuse prevention, we are looking for an experienced Java developer.

• You establish a strategy for test automation on distributed systems.

• You work with a motivated team and experienced architects.

• Together you design the target architecture for a high-load environment and critical processes.

• You are confident in dealing with sensitive data.

Your qualifications

You have several years of professional experience in object-oriented and functional software development with Java. Additional skills include:

• Proven knowledge in the implementation of modern web services with Java 8.
• 
  
• Practical experience with Kafka, Gitlab (CI), Maven, Spring Boot and streaming frameworks is beneficial.
• 
  
• Motivation to adapt new technologies and to solve challenging tasks.
• 
  
• Ambition to deliver high quality and to work in a structured and solution-oriented style.
• 
  
• Good English language skills. German language skills or the willingness to learn German are a plus.
