IT Manager - Senior Level at USAA (San Antonio, TX)

We are seeking a talented Manager Senior, Information Technology for our San Antonio, TX facility.

This manager will fill an important role in leading the definition of, improving USAA's Agile Portfolio practices, and enabling these practices based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

This person will fill the role as Product Owner, leading a team to define the processes and standards in partnership with business, technology and other departments' portfolio leaders aligning to Scaled Agile's (SAFe) portfolio level. As the Product Owner this person is responsible for the product, or the what. They make sure that the features of the upcoming product are clearly defined for the team and valuable for the internal customers. The product, the portfolio management function has the highest level of decision-making and financial accountability for the products and solutions in a SAFe portfolio and includes funding, governance and operations. Additionally, this person will partner with other leaders to ensure processes and standards are automated within supporting technologies.

Additional responsibilities include:
Manage employees in accordance with organizational policies and goals and helps business groups utilize information to improve their agility.
Authorizes and influences the development and delivery of business solutions that enable optimal business performance.
Provides and is accountable for technical leadership in the plan, design, development, testing, implementation, or maintenance of business solutions.
Leads and directs change management, process improvement, or technical support initiatives.
Provides direction and analytical support and directs business plan development to execute initiatives.
Advises senior management and provides high level consulting.
