Your Role:
Tenable is looking for experienced and passionate Director of Product Management to deliver innovation into Tenables Sensor Portfolio, which includes Nessus. As a Director in this capacity, you will provide strategic vision and tactical execution of various Tenable products and work with various teams to ensure product launches and releases are done smoothly.
Your Opportunity:
- Ensure all the products of the Tenable Portfolio are aligned with product strategy, product roadmap, and go-to-market plans.
- Perform product management tasks to make sure that Engineering, Product Management, and Product Marketing groups are coordinated in the planning and delivery of roadmap items.
- Coordinate with the Program Management team to understand resource availability, development activities and milestones, and dependencies between teams and products.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of the product roadmap.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, Support, and Sales to ensure alignment between the teams on plans, execution, and messaging.
- Participate in routine meetings with Support, Sales, Customer Care, Channel, and other departments to keep them informed about product changes.
- Be an active participant in the execution of go-to-market and launch activities.
What you'll need:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience building or maintaining enterprise security products
- Broad knowledge of IT security markets and products
- Experience with SaaS products
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong project and time management skills
