The Global SRE team is part of the global tech & product unit in the Delivery Hero group. Our team supports all other IT and infrastructure teams worldwide in building a secure and reliable infrastructure, and in creating a strong community of people working in the field of infrastructure, across our group of companies.

Your mission:
- You will be working with our heroic Global SRE team, which supports all other infrastructure teams in our company around the world.
- To be partially responsible for the administration and maintenance of our central tools, like Splunk and Vault, and 3rd party services, like Github and AWS (eg user management, configuration changes).
- Helping to manage our large portfolio of domains and SSL certificates, and optimize the necessary tools and processes.
- You will take care of cost control and efficiency management of cloud services, for example by optimising our fleet of EC2 reserved instances, and by maintaining our CloudHealth setup, so that we can analyze and optimize our cloud infrastructure.
- You will work closely together with our engineers from all over the world every day, for example working on their support requests, or by working with them to optimize their cloud infrastructure utilization and costs
- Helping us automate common and recurring tasks, so that the team can focus more on strategic topics.
- You will help the team build a strong community of systems engineers across our company group, to foster knowledge sharing.
Your heroic skills:
- You have professional experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or Google Cloud) including optimization and cost saving (TCO/ROI).
- Excellent knowledge of Linux administration.
- You love automating things and have proven experience in automation using Saltstack, Chef, Puppet or similar (or at least good knowledge of the concepts involved) and infrastructure as code (e.g. terraform, helm).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Route 53 isn’t a US Highway for you.
- Knowledge of database administration (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- Experience with Akamai, Cloudflare or similar platforms is a plus.
- An interest / experience in Python, PHP or another scripting language is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and a passion for working with others to be stronger together.
- You are pragmatic and can get things done.

- Ability to dig fast into new topics and technologies.
- You have strong attention to keep the system 'up and running'.
