Job Description:
The People Operations Technical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a short list of qualified candidates to hiring managers for our various open development and tech positions. The Technical Recruiter will also need to network on and off line with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce time to hire and ensure we attract the best candidates.
Primary Duties:
- Write and post technical job descriptions
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms (ex. Stack Overflow)
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen development resumes
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
- Interview candidates combining various methods (structured interviews, technical assessments, behavioral based)
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with tech professionals
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter
- Knowledge of development languages, including, but not limited to: php, js, React, Redux, nodeJS, Laravel
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for development roles
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and resume databases
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques
- Comfortable handling multiple open job requisitions
- Detail oriented with natural commitment to follow through
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Flexible and demonstrates comfort with ambiguity
