Ideal Applicants:
- Have a demonstrated interest in mentoring and coaching junior engineers
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Are energized by working with people!
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Mentoring students as they take your ideas & go to places you could not have imagined
- Experience with 2-3 of the following: modern JS frameworks (React, Node/Express), Java on the backend, AWS (ELB,SQS,Lambda,Beanstalk,Kinesis), Data Structures and Algorithms, Python, DevOps
Your responsibilities will include (based on interested and strengths)
- Lead lectures in small and large classroom environments 1-3x a week
- Architect and lead team of junior staff in building new curriculum efforts
- Mentor, coach, train and work with students on software engineering projects
- Work directly with founders on hiring and strategic decisions
