About TeamSupport:
TeamSupport is a leading vendor of web based (SaaS) customer support/Help Desk software. We started in 2008 and have made our mark in the world as a highly respected and sought after provider for B2B technology companies.
We are looking for experienced and skilled Systems Administrators to join our team and be responsible for making sure all of our servers and applications are running smoothly for our customers at top performance.
TeamSupport is growing and it's a great time on the infrastructure front. We need your help in scaling out and supporting both development and production systems.
Personality wise, we want people who like to GSD (Get S#it Done). You enjoy taking the ball and running with it and are confident in your decisions. You also have a sense of humor, enjoy working with others, and can remain calm and collected when the pace picks up. You enjoy learning and teaching, and offer a helping hand to your team, regardless of their area of the business. Finally, you take pride in your work, and knowing our customers and employees had a better day because of your contribution.
Our ideal candidate knows APM, such as New Relic, and has performed these duties recently.
The System Admin Team does the following things (and more):
- Deploys and manages a growing set of dedicated servers and cloud instances
- Designs backup and redundancy strategies to keep our customers' data safe
- Understands changing product requirements and deploys new tools to meet those requirements
- Manages monitoring systems so we know when performance is degrading, before things stop working.
- Responds if those monitoring systems ever generate alerts
- Helps the various teams at TeamSupport be productive by building internal tools and collaborating on design decisions
- Interfaces with customers to troubleshoot performance issues
Benefits
- Work on a highly sought after product and make a difference.
- Join a great, fun loving, highly productive and fast paced team that will encourage and listen to you.
- Enjoy new challenges! Be a name, not a number.
- Flexible time off policy / Two weeks paid vacation annually.
- Employer paid medical and dental.
- Salary: Depends on Experience. We're not set in stone one way or the other. We're open to the "golden" candidate on the high end, as well as the up and coming candidate as long as they possess the skills/qualities we're looking for.
