HubSpot's product department is growing in Dublin. We're approaching 80 people who are building, designing and researching projects that go on to become living, breathing parts of our inbound marketing and sales products.
We're searching for a Staff Software Engineer who’s looking to grow their career in a fast paced, low bureaucracy environment. We work in small, customer-driven development teams of 5-6 people under the mentorship of a Tech Lead. You and your team set the goals, set the timelines, build the software, go to user tests, and carry the pager.
Our Staff Software Engineers hold an esteemed position in HubSpot - working on the most complex problems using expert level technical skills and mastery gained through experience. The Staff Software Engineer position is a level above Senior Software Engineer and on the track of becoming Principal Software Engineer.
What we are looking for
- Highly productive, impactful, and trusted engineers who leverage their skills and knowledge to work autonomously on the most complex projects and set technical direction.
- A history of understanding complex problems, and delivering solutions that impact multiple areas of the product organization
- Deep technical knowledge in one or more areas, to help advance the technical ecosystem and best practice in HubSpot
- An ability to influence and teach others across the engineering organization and wider technical community
