Sr. Software Engineer - Java, Full stack with Tenable at Tenable, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA)

Your Role:

Tenable is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Dashboard and Reports Technology Services (DARTS) Engineering team to develop and deliver a new product. This is an opportunity for high impact and to be one of the early engineers responsible in delivering a high visibility product. The ideal candidate has solid expertise in frontend and backend technologies, experienced in designing quality products with a great customer experience, and passionate about delivering results.

Your Opportunity:


  • Design, develop and test versatile frontend and backend features for a cloud-based asset and vulnerability visibility management product

  • Work within a high performance scrum team and ensure a high quality of deliverables

  • Enthusiastic about taking responsibility for multiple features

  • Collaborate with other engineers within an Agile/DevOps development environment

What you'll need:


  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.

  • Strong expertise in Java/Groovy and knowledge of scripting languages.

  • Expertise in frontend frameworks and working experience in React, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.

  • Experience with containers, microservices a big plus

  • Ability to use a well-structured, systematic approach to break down and execute on initiatives and achieve results

  • Excellent at articulating, documenting and presenting ideas and work across the Engineering organization

  • Ability to influence with or without authority

  • B.S or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field
