Our Helsinki office is growing! Financially well backed-up, innovative high-tech start-up company Spectral Engines Oy is looking for an energetic, hands-on DevOps specialist. We are introducing a new kind of sensor technology and related solutions to the market and need your help to run the cloud service operations in order to be successful. You will have a great opportunity to have a real impact on company’s performance and way of working.
As a DevOps Specialist at Spectral Engines you will be working with developing and maintaining our cloud-based IoT infrastructure. In this position Continuous Integration (CI) and deployment as well as testing and Continuous Delivery (CD) are your functions. In our compact team of skilled professionals, you have a chance to take responsibility and develop quickly at your work. We hope you have programming skills acquired through studies or work experience and that you can provide clean and testable code.
We are not looking for skills in any specific technology, but hope distributed systems are familiar to you. If Ansible, Node.js and Containers interest you, this position may have a lot to offer for you! The Spectral Engines team is supportive and willing to help you get started in your new role, as long as you have the right attitude towards learning and developing yourself. There are several projects going on at once, so your work will have great variability.
You should have:
- Relevant educational background (e.g. computer science or similar)
- Some knowledge in Ansible, Node.js, ELK-stack or similar products and understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Motivation to learn and develop yourself
- Fluency in English and preferably knowledge in Finnish
