Are you a talented Developer looking to do work that matters? Forum One is looking for a Senior Developer to join our team and work out of our headquarters office in Alexandria, VA.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the technical planning, user story and technical acceptance creation, and coding
- Guide and manage other developers that are contributing code to the project
- Estimate the level of development tasks within a project
- Identify and correct complex bugs and problems
- Plan technical architectures that minimize or eliminate performance problems, complexity, or solution fragility
What you bring to the table:
- At least five years of web development experience
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems (preferred)
- Good demonstrable knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns
- Knowledge of and experience with highly complex Drupal and WordPress implementations and significant PHP development experience
- Experience with other backend web frameworks like PHP\Laravel, Python\Django, Node for RESTful web services a plus
- Experience with Git and Vagrant (preferred)
- Ability to take customer requirements and develop and estimate tasks
