Position Summary
DocuSign’s mission is helping people come to agreement. Our success at this mission relies upon our ability to properly identify those interacting with our services. The Identity team is responsible for our login systems, signer identification services and our international trust services platform. In a traditional paper transaction, you identify a person by asking, “Can I see your ID?”. But things need to work differently online. Our goal is to build a platform to help our customers know their signers.
This role will be part of an exceptional team of engineers responsible for the identity platform underpinning the entire DocuSign service. We’re building a platform that integrates into the global trust service provider ecosystem providing hooks to the local trust service providers and providing identity services for digital transactions
As a Principal UI Engineer on the Platform team you will design and develop UI frameworks and define customer experiences across core DocuSign products balancing long term strategic planning with projects in flight.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement standards and guidelines for development of front-end experiences.
- Partner with Software Engineers, Product Management and QA to deliver top notch customer experience
- Building the core login and identification systems
- Own critical features and lead by example. Mentor teammates.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in CS, EE or other relevant field of study
- 12+ years industry experience
- 8+ years web front end experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript and demonstrated expertise with mainstream Javascript frameworks such as React and Angular
Preferred Qualifications
- C#, Java or other modern server-side programming languages
- Cloud application architecture – including scalable stateless services
- Experience with Identity, OAuth, OpenID Connect, authentication, or public key infrastructure (PKI)
