The Position
The Company is hiring an experienced Full Stack Developer to join its growing, dynamic Development Team. This position calls for an innovative thinker that takes initiative and can work independently. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting edge applications and devices, and to make a huge impact on both the Company and the industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing, coding, developing, integration testing, debugging and production-level support of web-based applications while maintaining proper documentation for all steps of the development process.
This role provides a unique opportunity to take advantage of the latest software packages from industry leading vendors and open source projects.
The position is based out of the Troy office but does offer some flexibility in location following the successful completion of an introductory on-boarding period. The Company is open to discussing the possibility of the candidate working remotely if the schedule is suitable for both the Company and candidate.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both clients and the business
- Experience and proficiency with the following skills is required:
- JavaScript (ES6)
- Node.js
- Data modeling
- Experience and proficiency with the following strongly preferred:
- Technologies: Functional Programming, Ramda, React, Docker, GraphQL, Kafka (Franz or Apache), IaaS (AWS, Azure, etc.), Microservices
- Manufacturing Experience: SAP, Net Suite, Plex Manufacturing
- User experience design

The Recruitment Process
