- Build, test, deploy, operate and deliver on security automation solutions for our cloud infrastructure.
- Successfully champion a DevOps security model to create highly available, scalable, supportable, monitored infrastructure.
- Perform deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to the cloud security platforms.
- Research, evaluate, and develop new tools to improve developer productivity.
- Maintain performance, increase reliability, and ensure stability of systems and platforms.
- Help develop new cloud security strategies and implementations for the firm.
- Support the Firms goals in secure cloud adoption through hands on interaction with development teams to cultivate a cloud first mindset in transitioning workloads.
- Work within the Security Engineering team, in partnership with the firms Architecture, Security Operations and Lines of businesses, in a hands-on environment; working with numerous and varied applications.
- Experience specific to engineering, development and operation of large scale platforms and applications in a high production environment
- Strong integration, configuration management, build and release engineering experience
- Knowledge of at least one public cloud service - Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS Azure, IBM, Google Cloud, Oracle, VMware
- Ability to build, test, deploy, and deliver automation solutions.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience utilizing one or more tools such as Github, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
- Practical exposure with automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet and/or SaltStack.
- OS experience (Linux/RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server)
- Understanding of networking to include (ports/protocols), firewalls, load balancers and IPS
- Programming skills in Java and Python as well as one or more of the following Perl, Ruby, Bash, PHP, C#, Go
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Proficiency in the use of skills tools, staying current with skills, participating in multiple forums
- Experience with Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks is highly desired.
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence
- Certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, SANS-GIAC, CEH and/or Security+
- AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps or Security
- Microsoft - Cloud Platform & Infrastructure: MTA, MCSA or MCSE
