Full Stack .Net Developer at Legal Services of New Jersey (Edison, NJ)

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Create feature rich user-friendly web interfaces which are device independent using responsive web design principles.

  • Collaborate with the development team responsible for building and maintaining our websites and web-based applications.

  • Support and/or refactor existing code base as technology and business needs evolve.

  • Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle for assigned projects; from gathering requirements to production rollout and support, ensuring deliverables and quality goals are met.

  • Meet the organizational needs for ad hoc reporting which may require data aggregation and report formatting from a variety of data sources.

  • Follow good programming practices and incorporate feedback in code reviews to deliver code that is easy to manage.

  • Create and maintain documentation on all work product.


 Other Responsibilities:



  • Provide as needed support for internally developed applications and websites.

  • Research and recommend technologies relevant to our environment and business goals.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2-5 years full stack development experience.

  • Proficient programming in ASP.NET 4.6 utilizing C# (WebAPI and Entity Framework)

  • Experience with AngularJS

  • Experience writing SQL Queries

  • Proficient with Mobile First Design; Bootstrap and Material standards.

  • Proficient with HTML5 and CSS3.

  • Experience with end to end testing and writing test cases.

  • Experience with requirements gathering.

  • Experience with Version Control (ex. Git, TFS)

  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


 Additional Skills and Experience Sought:



  • Experience with automation (Builds, Testing, Deployments)

  • Knowledge of design patterns (Unit Of Work, Factory, Repository)

  • Proficient with SharePoint administration and SharePoint designer.

  • Proficient with PowerShell.

  • Manage existing SharePoint infrastructure, including permissions, SharePoint services, backups, health monitoring.

  • Perform custom programming required in SharePoint to meet business needs, including the development of custom web parts.

  • Keep SharePoint environments up to date, including performing data migrations across versions if necessary.
