Engineering Manager / Senior Level - Berlin
GoEuro is looking for an Engineering Manager that recognises that the scale of integration we are undertaking is likely to be one the highlights of their entire career. This is seen as a key role within our company and commands many skills, to include excellent soft skills (Java, C++), high-level technical/software skills/background, with the ability to inspire your team with the desire to keep pushing for excellence and always thinking outside of the box.
Career to date we expect prospective candidates working as an Engineering Director (within a smaller firm with limitations), Engineering Manager, Development Manager, technical architect, an earlier career as a software developer.
You will have worked for a software product based company, leading cross-functional teams, Agile, skills (sprints, SCRUM, Kanban) and expert at Change Management.
You will;
- Play a leading role in architecture and design of Coverage Platform and related systems
- Continuously raise the engineering bar with experience and passion for software excellence
- Design and develop scalable and future-proof microservices and libraries
- Work on high-performance services that handle all communications with our partners.
- Collaborate with other teams on solutions for challenging and interesting problems
- Improve our provider platform to simplify and streamline our complex tasks and make our system that integrates hundreds of APIs even more resilient
