The Team:
You will be part of the Engineering team and will help deliver and support quality products to our customers and drivers. GoGoVan engineering team is rapidly growing to cope with business expansion across the region in countries like Taiwan, Singapore, and Korea. The team is always looking to make improvements on app experience and continuously building new products that will cater to our client base.
The Opportunity:
- Build, iterate and customize GOGOVAN websites for each market we enter
- Help lead expansion into Southeast Asian countries
- Maintain, update and monitor the performance of our websites
- Build a deep understanding of the UI / UX needs for each market and be able to localize the website to fit these needs
- Lead our team to the latest and greatest website development techniques
Experience:
- Web Development experience is a must
- Deep understanding of UI framework and choices and experience in building UI applications from ground up.
- Architect full-featured client-side applications using cutting-edge JavaScript technologies including React, Redux, JSX, ES6/7 etc.
- Expert in web technologies and APIs (HTTP2, CSS/HTML, Browser JS APIs, WebSockets etc.)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SCSS and JS bundlers like Webpack
- Solid knowledge of how to build a website with robust website architecture
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills.
- Experience working with PHP websites / WordPress is a plus
