We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer to become an integral part of the LJSA and Walmart retail technology team! The successful applicant will be responsible for helping deliver mobile solutions for Walmart store associates. Additionally they would work along with Walmart associates on multiple internal and external teams.
The solutions would range from a mobile Point of Sale application with a separate payment device, a POS all-in-one device (payment and UI on same physical device) as well as other miscellaneous POS applications to assist in store cashiers/customer service managers.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design/develop software solutions
- Work with customer project manager to meet specification needs
- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational and application efficiency
- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Perform routine software maintenance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Android OS.
- Experience with React Native a big plus.
- Knowledge of iOS is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Java, Javascript, React Native, CSS/HTML and other programming languages
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
