End User Services of GfK is responsible for the internal Workplace IT Services and the roll-out of our future Workplace to several thousands of people worldwide. You're future responsibilities will be the following:
- Design, develop and implement UC related solutions
- Provide supporting documentation surrounding the respective domain of UC
- Support existing global team members (from a UC standpoint) when and where required
- Failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Contributes to the overall planning, development, implementation and execution of future Workplace
- Documentation work within the future Workplace program – i.e. Architecture Diagrams, User Guides, Technical Write-ups, etc
- Preparation of reports for project meetings & regular global meetings
- Team player within the Global EUS Team
- Other ad-hoc tasks within the End User Services where deemed
Your experience typically includes:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years related experience or; a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English due to the role being Global
- Ability to design, implement, and manage VoIP solutions, Microsoft Exchange, Unified Messaging using Microsoft Skype for Business products, and Windows Server including related Session Boarder Controllers
- Has participated in Microsoft Skype for Business consulting, implementation, and/or migration projects towards Office 365 / Skype for Business Online
- 3+ years of direct client facing consulting experience
- Strong technical background in the area of Microsoft / Unix / Linux infrastructure, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server messaging, Networking, Database, and Storage
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, identify alternative solutions, and communicate best practices
- Experience with PBX's and other telecommunications provider solutions a must have
- Strong research skills, excellent interpersonal skills in working with others
- Professional presentation and communications skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Software development or scripting skills using PowerShell, C#, ASP.NET, etc
- Certifications related to Microsoft Lync or Skype for Business Server, Microsoft Exchange Server preferred
- ITIL service management skills
