As a member of our Infrastructure Development team, youll immediately put your love of technology into action. Each day, you and your team will be responsible for making sure our platforms, servers and networks are online and secure. Youll work together, evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, maintaining, upgrading, documenting and designing our infrastructure. Youll find new and creative solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Communication is key, both in problem solving with your supervisors and collaborating with your coworkers, as well as other teams in the network.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms
- Maintains proficiency in these key areas:
- Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
- Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
- Design (compliance, security)
Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Proficiency in more than one specific infrastructure technology
- Ability to execute with understanding of best practices and JPMC policies top of mind
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- 5+ years experience designing, developing & maintaining software in support of various Managed File Transfer Service (MFTS) platforms (Secure Transport, File Mover, etc.)
- 5+ years managing complex incidents from an MFTS Development & Engineering perspective
- 5+ years experience across Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Experience in core Java, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate, Spring frameworks
- Hands-on experience in developing multi-tier web applications using Java, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XML
- Solid understanding with hands on experience in building SOA and RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous delivery principles
- Good understanding with hands on experience in TDD, Junit, Jenkins, Maven and Ant
- Good understanding of spring and other open source frameworks
- Good knowledge of relational database such as Oracle, MySQL, Maria DB
- Exposure to cloud computing is a plus
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, related field or Equivalent work experience
