Your day-to-day challenges:
- Working closely with the Data Science team to improve automated decision making
- Building the infrastructure that drives our loan decision engine
- Integrating with APIs to download and extract additional features
- Scraping web pages for new data
- Maintaining our model deployment pipeline
Your skills include:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Python and web-development frameworks (e.g. Flask or Django)
- Knowledge of web-scraping frameworks (e.g. BeatifulSoup, lxml, Selenium, or Scrapy)
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with continuous delivery/deployment
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning
- Drive for fast delivery while maintaining high quality
Bonus points:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Finance
- Experience with Docker and Microservices
