Senior Software Engineer
BT (British Telecom) are currently seeking a number of Senior Software Engineers to work on a next generation cyber security program within their Sydney based research and development department.
Your new company
BT is an international telecommunications organisation headquartered in the UK whose offices in Sydney are focused on the creation of brand new cyber security systems to be used by a variety of clients from Government to Banking.
Your new role
Your new role will see you work within a multi-talented team using a variety of technologies to get the job done. Although the organisation may be international, the team and environment you will be joining is organised and operates as a start-up where much of the traditional large organisational bureaucracy and red tape is handled by management to let you, the software engineer, do what you do best.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong experience in the following:
- Complied languages such as C, Python or Go
- A passion for low level technologies such as ASM (Assembly Language)
- Proficient in Linux/Unix like systems
- Low-level system development on Linux, Windows or OSX
NOTE: Experience within the security domain is not necessary (although would be beneficial)
