Comcast is looking for a iOS Developer to join the Customer Timeline Team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for talented, passionate people. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing native apps. We are looking for some with experience developing high volume and highly availability apps, with a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve a small multidisciplinary mobile application team
- Work collaboratively with all developers and software engineers
- Provide advanced application development and technical support for customer-facing iOS and Android apps.
- Provide technical solutions in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems
- Participate actively in agile practices by collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, and other team members in grooming user stories with cross-functional development teams
- Participate in the architecture, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of apps and enhancements
- Responsible for determining and enforcing engineering best practices
- Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced staff
- Support a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
- At least 5+ years' experience with mobile development
Preferred Qualifications
- Mobile development including: Swift, native iOS development, source control, Rest API's, Push Notifications, Third Party libraries, usage tracking and analytics, etc.
- Substantial experience in designing, building & implementing software solutions in an agile environment
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) practices as well as Automation and Unit Testing
- Expertise on Application Performance Monitoring
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- Implementation and support of CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an environment with high visibility and similarly high expectations
