The Development Team Lead position involves managing a team of software developers to work across eNett’s range of payment products and systems. Development Team Leads are responsible for managing the performance and professional development of their team members as well as applying their expertise in programming, architecture and systems design.

What you’ll be doing
Meeting with team members regularly to ensure their requirements to perform are understood and their development needs are met
Working with project managers/iteration managers to provide technical decision making for projects and initiatives.
- Conduct performance appraisals for team members.
- Working with the IT management to determine IT strategy for the effective delivery and maintenance of our products and platforms.
- Remaining hands-on with the development of software including writing quality code and reviewing the work of others.

Leadership skills enable team members to work autonomously providing guidance when necessary
- Advises on standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to software engineering and agile principles.
- Analyses, designs, plans, executes work to time, cost and quality targets. Assesses and evaluates risk.
