About the role
As our Lead React Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the product development cycle by contributing new features and optimizations to the architecture, tools and development workflow of the React-based UI Framework that powers Lendi. You will oversee framework maintainers and feature contributors, helping to drive stability, performance, testing and maintainability through consultation and code review.
For this role, we highly value experience building scalable web applications, tools and build processes as well as having a solid sense for design and UX. This position will attack unique problems from all angles, never settling for a brute force method. On this journey, you will work with various stakeholders to help build the best possible Lendi experience.

Skills and experience
- Experience working with Javascript frameworks (React, Redux, Next.js) and CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass, Less)
- A solid understanding of best practices and techniques regarding web scalability, performance, and security
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
- Design experience and understanding of user interaction
- Familiarity with SQL, relational, and document-oriented databases
- Familiarity with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- A firm understanding of data bindings and WebSockets
