UI/UX Designer for web applications who enjoys getting the little details right at Wavelength Automation, Inc. (West Sacramento, CA)

Come join our small 6-person company developing applications for the California legislative tracking community.

Currently, we are looking for a front-end developer with experience in designing web-based applications.  You'll have experience in HTML/CSS and are willing to learn SASS and Bootstrap. You don't have to be an expert -- we'll learn together. What's important is that you have a sense of design and are willing to put in the effort to get things done the right way. We have enough "technical debt" already, so let's build products we can be proud of.

As the UI/UX designer, you'll be working directly with me as we start with a refresh of our existing products. Then we'll create a few phone apps and start designing the next version of our flagship product. You will have to be in the office a few days a week, but can work remotely the rest of the time. Wavelength is very flexible with schedules as long as everyone respects each other's needs.

Our development tools are Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, Team Services and Git. Need something else, just ask. Training, online classes, books? You bet. When you succeed, we succeed.
