Lead Full Stack Developer
ProjectMZ is searching for an experienced lead full stack developer. If you are one of the elite software developers that can claim expertise in the following areas and have taken a commercial product to market than we want to talk to you.
What you’ll be doing
Lead the backend design and development for ProjectMZ’s cloud offering including:
- Highly scalable architecture
- RESTful APIs
- Design data models and processing for high volume data ingestion
- Creating and improving UI interfaces to meet specifications and design mockups
- Defining coding standards
- Implementing product development infrastructure (Github, Continuous Integration, Test etc)
Who you are
- An innovative and resourceful developer who is passionate about creating high-quality, high performance and highly available software
- Love to develop highly scalable web applications and services that deliver delight to our customers
- Ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle technical problems and deliver products that delight customers
- Excited by working in a startup environment, contributing to the vision and execution of cutting-edge products that solves problems and provides important protection for our customers
- Display leadership qualities for other team members, including sharing knowledge, experiences and skills with others. Provide design reviews, coaching, and give feedback
Requirements
Excellent Knowledge (3+ years of experience) with multiple of the following technologies
- Ruby on Rails
- MEAN Stack
- LAMP Stack
- MVC Framework Experience (Laravel, Symfony)
- Express.js
- Javascript and its ecosystem (Angular, D3js, jQuery etc)
- SQL/Postgresql/MySQL/NoSQL 3+ years required
- Distributed Systems design and architecture
- AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Continuous Integration (Envoyer, CircleCI etc)
- Clojure, Scala or other functional languages a plus
