Facebook is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Ads Engineering team. Facebook has one of the world's largest auction-based advertising platforms and we're particularly focused on making meaningful connections between people and businesses. As an engineer on the team, you will help conceptualise and build these products. The position is full-time and based in our London Engineering office.

Responsibilities

  • Full-stack web/mobile development with a variety of languages including but not limited to PHP, Javascript & HTML
  • Design and implement core back-end software components for serving ads
  • Work closely with product and design to build the next generation of our advertising products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent programming experience
  • Detailed knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
  • Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript and XHTML

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience coding in PHP or C++
